International School of Business and Media (ISB&M) in association with Shoppers Stop will be introducing a course in Fashion Retail Management.

According to India PRwire, International School of Business and Media (ISB&M) in association with Shoppers Stop will be introducing a course in Fashion Retail Management. Designed under the unique 'learn and earn model', the duration of the course will be 18 months promising to place students in premium retail outlets of the country.

 

Dr Pramod Kumar, president ISB&M said that the entrance of giant retail international players into the Indian retail market and the increasing need for professionals in this field provide immense opportunities to find a foothold at this stage. ISB&M hopes to give students a chance to combine creative fashion interest with business and management skills through this unique tie up with Shoppers Stop.

Designed by IIMA, the programme curriculum covers subjects including Visual Merchandising, Retail Selling Skills, Loyalty Programme, Fashion Product Knowledge and Store Operations, etc. Students will get the required exposure to all aspects of retail management across business from managing customers to creative areas like shop windows and presentation.

 

Fashion Retail Management at ISB&M course is divided into nine months of classroom learning and nine months of practical training. It will enable students to handle the front-end profile of Shoppers Stop as fashion assistants, with the opportunity to take on a managerial position after going through relevant assessment.
