Mystory@Finella Dias: What I gained from my college years
I wouldn't have done anything differently in my college. The admission process may have been a little hectic but BMS has taught me more than I expected.
My college life
When I first got admission in St. Gonsalo Garcia College, it was obviously new, there was a rush. First year was as normal as it could be. Getting to know the environment, getting comfortable, getting to know attributes of your mates, your teachers, criticizing the system and all of that. In the vacations of the first year, is when we realised that we missed it and it has been a real learning experience all year.
Rejoining college after the vacations for the second year was so exciting. Being a BMS student I was learning to explore and learning to cope. Specializing in Marketing has been a journey. When we think about it, we've always watched ads, it is normal isn't it? But there was a time when we had begun analyzing ads; trying to think what strategy they've used. A mentor was all it took for me, to enjoy what I studied.
Third year was potentially hectic as there was a lot to do in very less time. It really takes a toll on you, but the end of this journey is so painful. It's been a rollercoaster, but I wouldn't have it any other way.
