Sakal International Learning Center (SILC) has designed two transformational leadership programmes to provide a platform for organizations to develop such people – for business and for the social sector.

Organizations want people to take ownership and propel resources and energies in initiatives that create transformational impact and sustainable growth. Managing today's fast changing and global challenges requires radical and lateral thinking, the ability to anticipate issues and an approach to tackle diverse objectives in a convergent manner. We require people with a different mind-set, the ability to work and perform under pressure, utilize resources effectively, build teams, champion change and deliver results using innovation and technology.

Sakal International Learning Center (SILC) has designed two transformational leadership programmes to provide a platform for organizations to develop such people – one for business and the other for the social sector. The programmes can be done on full-time basis (9 months duration) or on part-time basis (3 months duration).

The programmes are designed to bring in transformation for the entrepreneur, intrapreneur and decision maker who can influence and impact the future of the organization. The emphasis is on doing things and not just learning or being aware of them. The content is designed and focussed to equip the participant with the insights, tools and techniques that are essential for managing a venture and creating change. It refrains from loading diverse management theory which often may not be relevant to the situation. The approach is practical, delivered by people with industry experience and coupled with field visits and practical assignments and projects to provide the real-life situational experience. The programmes culminate with each participant preparing their own transformation plan for implementation, within or outside the organization, planting them on the path of leadership.

The ideal participant should be a graduate with a good understanding of the English language and having work experience of 2-3 years. The programmes are ideal for people who:

  • want to become transformational leaders for business or for social profit,
  • desire to become a business head in the near future,
  • are aspiring leaders and want to transform the system,
  • work with NGOs, social organizations and the CSR function.

At the end of the programme, the participant would  understand how transformation leaders think, would cultivate a strategic thought process, would create futuristic vision, would understand the process of change and be equipped to become an agent of transformation.
