XLRI admissions for Fellow Programme in Management (FPM)

XLRI Jamshedpur has invited applications for their full-time, residential Doctoral level (PhD) programme – Fellow Programme in Management (FPM) – academic session 2014. The FPM course is a four-year research degree.

Eligibility & Admission Procedure

• A Master's degree or its equivalent in any discipline with at least 55% marks (50% for SC/ST candidates) with the Bachelor's degree/equivalent qualification with at least 60% marks (55% for SC/ST candidates) obtained after a minimum of three years of education after completing higher secondary education (10+2) or equivalent, OR
• a professional qualification like CA, ICWA or CS with at least 55% marks (50% for SC/ST candidates), OR
• BE/BTech degree or its equivalent with at least 60% marks (50% for SC/ST candidates) and 2 years of relevant work experience are eligible to apply.
• The applicant must hold a Bachelors/Master's degree or possess an equivalent qualification

For admission process, candidates need to opt for one of the following:

• Xavier Aptitude Test (XAT)
• XLRI Research Aptitude Test (XRAT), conducted on January 4, 2014
• GMAT/GRE/GATE/UGC JRF (research) results taken during the year December 1, 2011 and December 20, 2013.
• Those who have done their PGP from XLRI, any IIMs, FMS Delhi, MDI Gurgaon, XIM Bhubaneswar, IRMA, SP Jain, PG students from IITS, NITs, TIFR, TISS and other comparable Institutes, with a CQPI of at least 6.00/8.00 or equivalent will also be exempted from appearing in XAT.

Shortlisted candidates will then appear for a personal interview during February-March, 2014, at XLRI, Jamshedpur for the final selection. Call Letters for interviews (in March / April) will be sent as per their recommendations.
