Dear Lovepreet, I haven't any idea about BHMCT at IIMS and AIHMCT but being alumni of LPU, I can answer this question for LPU. One of my friend's brother is also studying there in Bachelor of Hotel Management and Catering Technology BHMCT )
Let me share few points about the Hotel Management programme at LPU :
Curriculum: High academic standards are maintained by offering the curriculum framed in consultation with industry experts. Student exposure: Being a part of a resource-rich University, the students have an advantage of interdisciplinary exposure which is not possible in standalone colleges. University-Hotel: The School also trains its students in the campus hotel named UniHotel of 25 rooms hosting national and international guests where students practice along with the staff. Infrastructure: The School has five modern kitchens with two bakeries. All kitchen and bakery are equipped to enable a student to perform scientifically and to attain their best of learning through most modern gazettes. We have few training restaurants to teach a student about the authentic serving style of food and beverage. We are equipped with one front office laboratory, two housekeeping laboratories, two computer laboratories with 60 computers, and a simulation laboratory for aviation. Placement: 100% placements record with minimum 10% students selected as Management Trainee (Junior Executive level) till date and the placement is with brands like Cox & Kings, Carnival Cruise, JET Airways, Oberoi, Taj, Leela, etc. Package: Six students were offered the package of Rs 8 Lacs by Carnival Cruise in last years. You will have to buy a prospectus to get the admission form. Prospectus cum Application form can be obtained by paying Rs. 1000/- which includes postal charges by demand draft in favor of the Army Institute of Hotel Management and Catering Technology (AIHM & CT) payable at Bangalore. The prospectus cum application form can also be downloaded from the college website or by hand from the College / Command HQs (AWES) / Army HQ (AWES) through demand draft.
