Schemes also differ by department. Under Social Justice, SC students get the Government of India Post-Matric Scholarship and Post-Matric Tuition and Examination Fee Freeship. Tribal Development runs Post Matric Scholarship and Vocational Education schemes for ST students. OBC-VJNT-SBC Welfare and Minority Development each run their own separate schemes too.
Students from colleges linked to universities like Savitribai Phule Pune University and Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University can also apply for Higher Education Department schemes such as the Eklavya Scholarship or State Government Open Merit Scholarship, if they meet that scheme's conditions.

MahaDBT Scholarship Registration Process
Before applying to any scheme, students must first register and set up their profile on MahaDBT 2.0.

Complete Aadhaar-based verification, either by OTP or biometric.

Fill in personal details like name, date of birth, gender and contact number.
