Bhagwan Mahavir Polytechnic, Bhagwan Mahavir University review.
Placements: About 60% of the students get placed, with an average salary of 3-5 lakhs per annum. The highest salary offered was 15 lakhs. The college attracts many companies, including Essar Steel and Reliance Jio. Some students get jobs and continue their internships, while others join startups or pursue higher studies at BMU.
Infrastructure: The college is located in a very upscale area, and the infrastructure is great. The library and classrooms are top-notch, and every floor is kept clean and tidy. There are water stations on each floor, so students can refill their water bottles. The food in the canteen is good, and the college even has its own cricket ground, football ground, basketball court, and indoor game facilities.
Faculty: The teachers are very humble and helpful. They are always willing to share their experience and provide whatever help the students need. The exams are quite easy, and students can easily pass if they study well. The course curriculum is great and is very relevant to the course the students choose.
Other: I really like this college. The college is very good, and the crowd is also very nice. The college provides government scholarships, and every year some fests are held. Every Indian festival is celebrated here.

It's a private university, so in this college, it works as the dean of the owner of the college says
Placements: There are no placements in the college. Some companies came but only for internships. Placements are not taken in this college, and all the students cannot take part in the placements if possible because the college only focuses on 2-3 students who are good, so the rest they don't care.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is very poor; fans are not working, benches are broken, and many more issues exist. Even the cameras are not working. In all the labs, some computers are also not working, and only 1-2 labs have the latest generation computer software while the rest are outdated, so this is also a concern.
Faculty: There are good faculty members, but the curriculum is very, very poor. They make a lot of mistakes when putting their marks in the main result. The paper checking is also very poor in this college, and they also make lots of mistakes in creating exam question papers because they ask questions that are not taught in the college.

Value for money and very flexible.
Placements: Though most people go for a degree after completing a diploma, the students that go for jobs have received a starting salary anywhere from INR 30k/mo to INR 12 lac/year packages. Though, as far as I am aware, there are no placements after a diploma, the faculty will support you if you need help.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure, like buildings, washrooms, internet, etc., is good but the fans are not always functioning and it seems the college does not have a power backup as there are frequent power cuts. The water coolers are not always filled and it is dangerous to drink this water due to some bad students.
Faculty: The faculty is very understanding and helps figure out a plan that works for every students needs, such as helping you out with any leaves may need for extracurriculars, etc. The course material is about newer technologies like MongoDB as well as proving real-world experience. The exams are not too hard for students who actually understand the material instead of memorizing it.
Other: They have frequent events, startup events, shark-thank-type events, etc. It provides opportunities for students to explore their interests and grow. I do wish they would remove the mandatory uniform, as college is for developing independent thought and not like school.

A very good college to be in.
Placements: At bhagwan mahavir university the percentage of students placed are around 80%. There were lots of companies that offer jobs to college students. Every year there are 1000 of students who get placed from the college. In my college, placement is offered from companies like Tata, Adani, Wipro and many more.
Infrastructure: There were labs but hostel is not available. The drinking water facilities are available. Washrooms, library , internet is also available. Parking facilities are there and a college canteen. Lift facilities are also available, but some of the facilities are missing.
Faculty: The teachers were very knowledgeable. They will guide you step by step and they are friendly. The college exams are too tough but the teachers help us to crack it. They teach us in different ways, which is better from all other colleges. I think its the best teaching skill that they have.
Other: I chose IT course because the college was the best for it as well as for other fields too.

This college is good for computer engineering with a Diploma.
Placements: There are no placements or internships provided by our college. They don't provide good jobs. After doing IT here, I need to do a 3-month free internship, and then I will get a job with a salary of 8,000 per month. It is very bad. I think they should provide good placements. I haven't completed my graduation because I have to clear my subjects. But my friend said that after graduation, the companies would hire students on a contract-basis.
Infrastructure: The campus has a huge sports ground, where we can play cricket, football, tennis etc. There are labs for each department. We have a carpentry lab, welding lab, thermal lab, computer lab, automobile lab, IT lab etc. OBC students get a scholarship of Rs. 3,000, and SC and ST students get a scholarship of Rs. 40,000, which is our fee for 2 semesters. So, they can easily pay their fees. For open-cast students, there is no scholarship.
Faculty: For the first-year students of many departments, the college lacks permanent faculty. It is quite disappointing with low quality of teaching. The course curriculum is strict with academics and attendance. We have 8 end-semester examinations and internal examinations. Internal examination papers are made by our subject teachers. The course is run according to GTU University. The college conducts tech fest, freshers party, sports, projects, viva and internal exams.
Other: In the 1st semester, we have a freshers party organised by a club. Every winter, they organise a sports week. Annual function, fashion show, tech festival, and many more activities are conducted in the last semester. We have to submit our projects on time.

It was not a very bad university, but it was a below-average college in Surat.
Placements: There were zero placements from Bhagwan Mahavir University. There was no available information about any student receiving an on-campus placement. Almost every student got placed off-campus. Students from Bhagwan Mahavir University couldn't get any type of internship through the college.
Infrastructure: There was a very low level of facilities in Bhagwan Mahavir University, especially in the Polytechnic building. They did not provide proper facilities. The Wi-Fi had only a 34 MB data limit per user. The classrooms were not digital and did not have a proper infrastructure.
Faculty: Faculty members were very irresponsible. They did not give any clear answers to their students and had a very angry nature. If any student asked a question, they did not respond properly. If a student gave any answer or suggestion, they would get angry and shout at them. Overall, their behavior towards students was very bad.
Other: I was a student in the 2020 batch, but no services or facilities were provided by the university. Bhagwan Mahavir University did not have a single lift for students. Apart from that, the university also did not provide lift facilities for the parents of students. They charged for facilities but did not provide any to the students. All facilities were only for faculty members.
