No, there are many differences in these two Institutes/universities.As you will find good faculty, good infrastructure, and as well as placements in the PES university because it is private. So, as this is private university you will get most of the time best in everything. And in PES University you will find many UG and PG courses and this is the best part. Now talking about fees structure in PES university, having private university its fees among all the courses are pretty much higher side.

The Center for Management Studies (CMS) offers a well-defined application process for various programs. Eligibility requirements include a bachelor's degree in any discipline for postgraduate programs and 10+2 with good scores for undergraduate programs. Many programs require scores from national or university-specific entrance exams like CAT, MAT, GMAT, or JAT, with specific exam requirements varying by program. Some programs may have minimum work experience requirements, especially for MBA programs. To apply, visit the CMS website, choose your program, fill out the application form, pay the application fee, and submit the form by the deadline. If applicable, take the required entrance exam and ensure your scores are sent to CMS. CMS will shortlist candidates based on their application forms, entrance exam scores, and other relevant factors. Shortlisted candidates may be invited for Micro Presentation and Personal Interview. If selected, you will receive an offer letter from CMS, and you must accept the offer and complete the necessary formalities. To ensure a successful application, pay close attention to application deadlines and entrance exam dates, ensure you have all required documents ready, prepare for entrance exams, and contact CMS for any questions or clarification.

The comparison between any two institutions is relative. In the sense that the different students may prioritize different aspects of the college, i.e some students may prefer more placements whereas some prefer honing their skills, the overall decision of the candidate can vary from what they consider for selection. The CMS college is ranked 5th as the top private b school whereas the IFIM ranked as 1st. The placements and infra seems pretty similar between these two institutes. However, IFIM still holds an edge over CMS.
