TS ECET exam is conducted for Diploma & B.Sc (Mathematics) holders who are seeking lateral central admission into various B.E/B.Tech courses. Eligibility Criteria for admission to the course is-
Candidates should have completed a Diploma in Engineering and Technology or any other equivalent degree or candidates should have passed 3-year B.Sc. Degree examination with Mathematics as one of the subjects in the group combination from a recognized University in the Telangana/Andhra Pradesh state. Candidates should have qualified for the exam with at least 45 percent marks and the qualifying marks for reserved categories is 40 percent. The cutoff for admission varies every year from college to college. Therefore it would be difficult to tell you about the cutoff or the marks required for admission. You can go through the link below and check the previous year's allotment details for reference and have an idea about the rank required for admission.

1. College of Engineering Pune
The admission in COEP are based on ranks obtained in MH-CET or JEE Main. Hence only 12th marks are not enough for getting admission here.
