I have seen people completing their MBA via distance mode through many universities and securing a good job. It is always the efforts of a student that take him far more further in the journey of his career. My advice is to visit the campus once, try to get the gist from the atmosphere and if you find it suitable for you then go ahead. You are the best judge to analyse an opportunity for yourself. No one else can do that for you. However, whenever or wherever you take admission, make sure you keep your score card excellent. It is your score card that will keep you ahead of others while securing a good job for yourselves. However, the final call is always yours.

You should appear in that counselling. Your attendance is must on that day. Now, you need to appear again in the entrance.
Although, I will suggest you to write a mail to the concerned authorities mentioning all your details like name, registration number, mobile number, reason for not attending the counselling etc, they will revert back to you ASAP if possible.

Both the colleges are good at their own place. It totally depends on your interest that in which college you are more comfortable. Although you can prefer VIT for computer Science engineering due to the reputation of this college. Many IT companies like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, cognizant, Capgemini etc. Visit the campus for recruitment. And those who work hard throughout the years, get multiple job offers. Best of luck.
