The candidate must also be at least 17 years old by October 1st of the admission year and only women candidates are eligible.
The selection of candidates is based on a selection test, which is held in New Delhi. The test is of 2.5 hours duration and contains objective-type (multiple-choice) items. The total number of seats is 72, with 22.5% reserved for Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe candidates and 27% for OBC candidates. Three seats are reserved for foreign nationals who fulfill the minimum eligibility conditions.
Candidates can apply by submitting the application form supplied by the college office or downloaded from the college website, along with a demand draft of Rs. 550 in favor of the Principal, Rajkumari Amrit Kaur College of Nursing. The last date for submission of the application form is usually in April, and the selection test is held in June.
