The Datta Meghe College of Engineering, also known in short as DMCE, located in Airoli, Navi Mumbai has emerged as one of the prominent engineering institutions in the region. Most of the professors are PhD and M Tech holders thereby the institution is reputed to have got a quality faculty. For this reason, many students from the different parts of Maharashtra crowd in to take Civil Engineering here. The college has hosted big activities like a few other hackathon conducted in Computer Engineering, which enhances its profile too. The buildings are reasonably new and well-maintained; there is a 13-storey building that incorporates all the various departments but lacks an open ground for sports and recreational purposes too…. Student life on campus is well balanced as it has both academic and non-academic aspects with various student clubs furbishing campus life. The placement record of the college is satisfactory especially in the disciplines of Civil and Computer engineering; other disciplines such as Mechanical Engineering have a more secure outlook. The students in Mechanical engineering however have good prospects though competition may be quite stiff. However, if you work hard, you can still get a job placement. As there is no hostel facility with the college, student staying outside the city are advised to take PG accommodations which are available in the vicinity of the college. In general, DMCE is able to offer good quality education which incorporates fairly good infrastructure and teaching staff but does not seem to possess the world class facilities offered by some other high-class engineering institutions. For those pursuing engineering, it is however still a viable option more so for particular courses such as Civil Engineering.

Indeed for a restricted number of seats, Datta Meghe College of Engineering (DMCE) provides direct admission under its Management Quota. With this option students can avoid taking the traditional entrance examinations like MHT-CET or JEE Main but they still need to fulfill the prerequisites, which include completing 10+2 with a minimum percentage and the required disciplines (usually math, chemistry, and physics).Management Quota seats are given out on a first-come first-served or academic performance basis and typically have a higher fee schedule. Since these seats fill up quickly candidates who are interested in direct admission should get in touch with the college's admissions office as soon as possible
