Review of ESC Government Polytechnic college.
Placements: About 70% of students get placed every year in different companies. The highest salary package offered in mechanical was 5.5 LPA, and the lowest was 3 LPA. The top recruiting companies were Bosch, JSW, Hyundai, Tata Motors, etc. About 80% of students got internships from local companies like Hero, Honda, and TVS.
Infrastructure: Our campus was spread over about 5 acres of land. It had a huge ground. There was no Wi-Fi for students. Labs were full of instruments with good apparatus as per the requirements. Classrooms were good but the buildings were old. The repair work was going on. The library was huge, but the books were old. The government was trying to restock as per the curriculum.
Faculty: Teachers were helpful. They were highly qualified. They had M. Tech. degrees. Their knowledge was up to the mark. The teaching quality was quite good, with good communication skills. The course curriculum was relevant. It was quite understandable. With the guidance of lecturers, students could achieve jobs in many industries. Semester exams were somewhat hard. Exams become easy if we understand the concepts as per the guidance of lecturers. About 70% of students pass every year from every branch.
Other: I chose this course because I liked machines and their working. The best things were the curriculum, infrastructure, etc. They need to improve some facilities, like toilets and PET sessions. There were no events. There were only festivals like science fest. The college permitted us to conduct freshers' and farewell parties as per our request. The state government provided scholarships like Jagannna Vidya Deevena for students. Extracurricular activities were quite good. Sports, games, and tournaments were conducted at the college.

Review of ESC Government Polytechnic College.
Placements: Our college provides good placements. All students get placed in good companies. Approximately 70% of students get placed, but most of the students choose higher education. Top recruiting companies are HCL, TCS, JSW, etc. Top roles offered are junior engineer, technician, etc. The highest salary package offered is 4 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 1.5 LPA. Many students got internships in government companies like APSPDCL and private companies like Schneider. They will get a stipend of Rs. 12000 per month with facilities.
Infrastructure: It is a government college. Wi-Fi facility is not available in our college. There is a vast playground in our college. Classrooms are a bit old because our college was constructed long ago. The library is good, and it has many books. We can borrow books from the library. Our college provides separate hostels for boys and girls. Hostels are good. The food served in the hostel is good. The hostel fee is less compared to private hostels. We can play any type of game in the playground. They conduct sports competitions every year. Winners will be rewarded.
Faculty: Our faculty members are excellent and highly qualified. They attempted the government exam to get a government job. They are friendly. They clear our doubts. They won't hesitate to clear doubt. The curriculum is good. It is based on the intention to make students perfect in that particular course. The curriculum gives enough knowledge about the course. Semester exams are easy for students who follow the class lectures. Exams are conducted strictly. If we work hard, we can score high marks in exams.
Other: I opted for this course because it has a good future. Its future depends on electric vehicles. They can join a government job, a software job, or an electrical industry job. The best thing about this course is it is difficult. I want to take challenges and show that EEE is easy. The course is good. They conduct freshers' and farewell parties. The eligible students will receive scholarships from the Andhra Pradesh government.

Not satisfied with absence of college hostel, not so good infrastructure, and campus placement.
Placements: Placements scenario in the college was not very good. Only some students got placed with the average package of 3 lakhs per annum. The placement numbers were not satisfactory.
Infrastructure: There was college Wi-Fi available. The infrastructure was not up to the mark though the labs were good. Hostel facility was not present in our college but PGs were there outside the college.
Faculty: Each professor was knowledgeable and highly qualified. The teaching was good. Exams were conducted with strict invigilation.

Our college is the best college and among the top 3 colleges in AP with very good teaching.
Placements: About 30% of students got placed in different companies. The highest salary package offered was 4 LPA and the lowest salary package offered was 1.8 LPA. The top recruiting companies were L&T and Medha Servo Drives. Some members got internships in APTRNCO, RTPP, etc. Junior Engineer (JE), Assistant Engineer (AE), and technical trainee are the top roles offered.
Infrastructure: Some hostels were available surrounding the college. The quality of rooms and food was better. Some government hostel is available like the BC hostel. The college hostel for girls was full of girls for the accommodation of food. There were no hostels for boys as of now. A new hostel was being constructed. A separate girl was available in the college. Food and facilities were good in our college. The infrastructure of the college is better and books were available in the library. Some smartboards were also available in our college.
Faculty: Our college followed the SBTET curriculum as per the year. It was a good curriculum for students for easy understanding in this college. It provided 4 courses such as mechanical engineering, civil engineering, electrical engineering, and electrical and communication engineering. Per class, there were 60 students. The qualification of faculty was according to the government norms and exams. It was not difficult to pass exams if we were regular in class and labs. Attendance plays a crucial role. We must have a minimum attendance of 75% to write final examinations.
Other: Every year, a sports meet is conducted in college for both girls and boys. Extracurricular activities were also conducted in our college.

It is a marvelous college to study.
Placements: The percentage of students who got placed for 2018-2021 is 75%. The highest salary package is 2.5 LPA and the lowest salary package is 1 LPA. Around 60% of students got internships from top companies like Cisco, Susken technology, and Kia for the role of assembling components, etc.
Infrastructure: Every branch and classroom are digitally equipped, a big library and computer lab with Wi-Fi facilities are available. Hostel facilities are good. They provide quality and tasty food but includes only tiffins and rice.
Faculty: The teachers are highly qualified, supportive, and have a minimum of 30 years of experience. There is industrial training for the students to get practical knowledge. The semester is somewhat tough but we can get easily 60% which is the pass percentage.

It is a good college with highly qualified staff members.
Placements: We are a total of 60 students in civil engineering. Only 60 seats are allotted in our college. We don't have placements at our college. Students have to try off-campus placements. The average salary package offered is 2.5 LPA. L&T is the top recruiter. Every student has to go for training which marks are awarded for logbook and viva.
Infrastructure: All equipment is available, which is to be known by civil engineers. Advanced surveying instruments like total station are also available. The library is also available. Boys don't have any hostel facilities in the college, and the hostel is only for girls.
Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified professionals and knowledgeable, and teaching quality is very effective and understandable. The course curriculum is relevant, and the scheme changes accordingly. Students are made industry-ready. Based on different subjects, exam difficulty varies. A minimum of 27 marks out of 80 in external is required. Also, 7 marks out of 20 are required to score in internal exams. Almost 35% is the pass percentage.

Open School Society (APOSS), X class examination conducted by various State Boards of Secondary Education in India with Mathematics as one of the subjects. Candidates belonging to NIOS/APOSS/Other Examinations recognised as equivalent to SSC by A.P. Govt. should have passed all the subjects including Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, with minimum of 35% marks in each subject. Candidates who appeared or are appearing for SSC or equivalent examination being held in April/ May-2023, and whose results are yet to be declared can also apply. There is no age restriction. |
