Candidates who have completed Class 12 in any stream from any recognised board or any School or Board or University examination in India or in foreign country recognised by the Association of Indian Universities as equivalent to Class 12 system can apply for Footwear Design and Development Institute, Guna BDes programme. Aspirants who have passed School Examination conducted by the National Open School with a minimum of five subjects; or All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) approved three-years full time Diploma after Class 10 offered by Board of Technical Education of any state or Union territory can also apply. Candidates who has appeared for any of the above examination, and whose result has not been declared at the time of admission, shall be eligible to apply for admission. Besides, the age limit for the Bachelor's programme shall be 25 years as on the July 1 of the admission year.

Such candidate, if selected, shall be granted provisional admission and shall be required to submit the result of the requisite examination. Besides, there is no age limit to apply for the MBA programme.
