A student is allowed to participate in an GAT exam only once for each course and during a single phase. GITAM considers re-appearing as an unfair practice of submitting duplicate applications. The counselling dates will be announced soon . The counselling for all SC, ST, Divyang and Scholarship candidates will be conducted first. For rest of the applicants, counselling was conducted later.The admission authority of GITAM University organises the counselling. The counselling is organised by the university for admission to undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in Architecture, Basic Sciences, Engineering, Humanities, Law, Management, Nursing, Pharmacy, Paramedical, and Physiotherapy. All the candidates who quality in GAT PGT 2024 will be called for counselling. 

In GAT PGT for each correct answer, students will get 2 marks while for each incorrect answer, one mark will be deducted. Since there is negative marking the candidates must be careful while answering. They should read and understand the question thoroughly and then answer it.
