Hope to become the best in this college.
Placements: It's a newly established medical college which came into function in 2020. It's offering MBBS and paramedical courses. The intake of MBBS is 100 students. It's a government-funded college. All students get eligible for internships once they clear the NEXT 1 exam.
Infrastructure: Since it is a newly established medical college so it's still under construction. Yes, it has a functional library, labs and classrooms but they still need more furnishing. The hostel is quite okay as we have single rooms from the 2nd prof. The mess is average.
Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified and they have MBBS and MD degrees. They thoroughly help us through the entire course. Indeed, this course is professional and we will get an MBBS degree after having this. We have proff exams which are difficult and the passing percentage is 50%.
Other: It was my dream to become a doctor so I chose MBBS.

A well-developing Medical College.
Placements: Since it is a new government medical college founded in 2019, offering courses like MBBS, Nursing, and Paramedical. Placements are not offered, but internships are provided to each batch. The first batch passes out in 2026 and appears for NEET PG.
Infrastructure: Both boys' and girls' hostels are present with well-provided facilities, but only for the MBBS course. Hostel facilities for other courses like Nursing and Paramedical are not available. The college has labs, a canteen, a library, sports facilities, and other curricular activities.
Faculty: Although it is a new medical college, the teaching is one of the best aspects of the institution. Professors are well qualified. The quality education is provided along with clinical practice. The college has a separate allied hospital operating in the main city of Doda, away from the medical college.
Other: I am from the 2023–24 batch and am selected through the NEET UG 2023 exam. The first batch (2020) passes out in 2026. There are 150 seats in the college. Selection is purely based on the NEET UG exam and counseling through NMC for the All India Quota and Jammu & Kashmir BOPEE for the State Quota.
