Government Polytechnic Rajkot is one of the best technical colleges in Gujarat.
Placements: Our college provides good placements. If you study hard, you can get recruited very easily. More than 65% of students are placed. Top recruiting companies like Reliance, Nayara, etc., visit our campus, and they recruit many students from our college. I am lucky to study in this college.
Infrastructure: In our college, a new building was recently constructed for academic purposes, which has a lot of facilities. It has good-quality classrooms with good ventilation. There are good facilities for fans and lighting. There are also good-quality labs with different types of equipment and chemicals. There are lots of opportunities in chemical engineering, so I chose this course. Lots of events are organized by our college, like sports week, project fair, cultural events, and many more.
Faculty: I am very fortunate to have such teachers. They are highly qualified, experienced, and very helpful. They are dedicated and knowledgeable, and they always find a unique way of teaching. They make us ready for every situation and make us industry-ready. We follow the course curriculum of GTU, which is quite good, but it needs improvement.
Other: There are lots of opportunities in chemical engineering, so I chose this course. Lots of events are organized by our college, like sports week, project fair, cultural events, and many more.

Our college provides good placements and enjoyable college life.
Placements: Our college provides good placements. If you study hard, you can get recruited very easily. More than 65% of students are placed. Top recruiting companies like Reliance, Nayara, etc., visit our campus.
Infrastructure: Our college provides good infrastructure. Labs and classrooms are good. All fans and lights work properly. There is a building painted white. The building looks messy from the outside. It will be improved soon.
Faculty: Exams are conducted by GTU, so they are average. If you are a good student, you can pass every exam very easily. The HOD of the chemical department is not so good. Our teachers are fine.

I'm dissatisfied with placements of 2020 due to pandemic. It has excellent infrastructure & faculty.
Placements: Almost all willing students got selected from our course, but due to the pandemic, they didn't get a joining letter. The average salary package offered is 1.8 LPA. Top recruiting companies here are Reliance Industries Limited, Tata Chemicals, Archean Chemicals and ArcelorMittal Nippon Steel. Roles offered are field executive trainee, executive and junior engineer.

It is a good institution to study.
Placements: It is a good institution. Placements are offered with the average salary package of 1.5 LPA. Companies like L&T, Ambuja, etc., visit here for placements. Due to very less fees, our college is worth the money. Recruiters are very friendly, and they offer good if you perform nicely in the interview. Overall, our college is good to get a good salary package.
Infrastructure: Our college has only accommodation facilities and doesn't have other facilities. It is green lush with a nice environment. The food facility is available near the gate of our college, where they serve good food at less price and is also hygienic and affordable to everyone. You can stay here.
Faculty: Faculty members here were fabulous, and their teaching skills were great. The course curriculum was quite relevant, and it makes students a little industry-ready as it is a diploma institute. Faculty members are always available to help you in every way possible, and they give you full support and guidance whenever required.

It provides the best placements for the electrical engineering branch.
Placements: About 80% of the students in our batch got selected. The salary package offered was 2 LPA by Tata Power. Tata Power is a very reputed company, and it conducted placements in our college. Placement cell plays a major role in placements.
Infrastructure: Smart classrooms are available in our college. The campus is Wi-Fi enabled. Facilities available in our college are excellent. It has a smart digital library. Overall, the hostel facilities are also good. The campus of college contains all facilities according to our needs. There is also a practical lab in which students do practical work.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are well-qualified and experienced in all branch. The course curriculum makes us ready for industry-oriented. The college maintains all facilities for every core branch as the electrical engineering branch.

I am not much but satisfied with the college. Around 15% of placements were given in 2015.
Placements: Around 10% of the students get placed in the companies by our college. The highest salary offered was Rs. 25,000 per month and the lowest salary offered was Rs.15,000 per month. An average salary offered is Rs. 20,000 per month. Top recruiting companies were Tata Power, Birla, etc. Top roles offered is to give training in some powerhouses, etc. The highest salary package offered in our course was 4 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 2 LPA. The average salary package offered is 3 LPA. Approximately 10-12% of the students get internships from our course in some small and medium recruiting companies.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is almost good. Our campus is Wi-Fi enabled. Lab sessions were taken twice in a week. Classroom infrastructure was also good. The quality of our hostel is not much good, but as usual, it is fine since it provides mineral water. The quality of the food served is not as good as our home. Even medical facility is available, but the sports and games facility is not good.
Faculty: In our branch, all the teachers are helpful. Even our HOD is also helpful. They are knowledgeable and are well qualified. Since all the teachers are good, obviously teaching quality is perfect. The course curriculum is relevant. Our college played a much vital role in making our students industry-ready.
Other: I chose this course because my father said that, in engineering, there are many scopes, but now I don't think so. The best thing about our course is that in future we might get a good job according to our teachers. Food served, and the practical sessions in the lab should be improved in our college. Events and fest organised were good. The campus crowd was also good. Scholarships are given to OBC, ST and SC yearly. In extracurricular activities, it includes farewell functions of seniors, teachers day, engineering day celebration, etc.

I am satisfied because of teachers, very good infrastructure and facilities, etc.
Placements: I am a student at Government Polytechnic College Rajkot, and I am studying a diploma in mechanical engineering. In our institute, 95% of students from our course were placed. The highest salary offered is 2 lacs per month and the lowest salary offered is Rs. 25,000 per month. Aditya Birla Group is a top recruiting company for our course. Supervisor and assistant engineer roles are offered to the students of our course. Above 90% of the students from our course got an internship in Aditya Birla company.
Infrastructure: Facilities in our college are good with good inferiority and good infrastructure. The college also provides free Wi-Fi, practical labs, well-designed classrooms and a library. Quality of the hostel is good, and the quality of food is amazing in the mess and canteen.
Faculty: In our department, teachers are well-trained and accompanied with good knowledge and skills. They are qualified, and they were helpful to us. Their teaching quality is awesome. Our course curriculum is relevant, and it helps students to withstand the current competition in society.
Other: I have chosen a mechanical engineering course because it is my passion to invent machines. There are nothings to improve in our course. In our college, many events and fests are performed with a humble connection. Campus surroundings are lush green.
