Hiii Tushar. IBS Mumbai is good and well know for PGPM in finance as all the big financial intermediaries and banks visit IBS at the time of Final Placements . Some of the corporate entities like CRISIL, Deloitte, JP Morgan, Bank Of America visit IBS at time of final placements. Average package for finance is 7 lakhs. PGPM is different from PGDM because PGPM is a certificate course which offers a Program in Management whereas PGDM is a diploma in Business Management.

Both are equally good.
Mumbai is a financial capital and there are plenty of opportunities for the students who pursue their MBA Programme from the same. Similarly, Gurgaon is a hub with many reputed companies like Apollo tyres,BMW,Continental,Sapient and many others and IBS Gurgaon has a good scope for students opting for finance, marketing, HR etc depending on their skills.
In addition to that, In order to judge any college, you can do so by knowing 2 things- ROI and Placements.
There are many reputed companies which do come to IBS Gurgaon. Big 4's, do come to Ibs gurgaon every year. Companies like Oyo rooms,Expedia,CB Richards,Exponential,Copal Amba,Proctivity,Thomas International along with many others do come to Ibs gurgaon.
All these companies do visit the other campuses like IBS-Hyderabad,Mumbai but the only difference is the packages being offered to the students in those colleges. The fees of IBS Gurgaon is Rs. 7 lakhs and the average package is Rs. 5-6 lakhs whereas the fees of IBS Hyderabad is Rs. 14 lakhs and the average package is Rs. 11-12 Lakhs.
College doesn't matter but your practical knowledge and your skills matters a lot.

I would 5 out of 5 stars. Yes they do offer nice placements and that too 100% placements guaranteed. I myself is studying in IBS Mumbai and I truly agree to the point that they offer nice placements and not just that they also groom individuals to the fullest to be successful future managers.

PGPM is a course which does not require UGC recognition or AICTE approval because is a course which is autonomous in nature and has government approval to run such kind of programs . Only problem you may face after doing PGPM is that you can't do P.HD. or government job but you can apply for big corporate giant because companies do accept PGPM as it has equal value like a MBA or PGDM . It is a replica of MBA or PGDM . If you want to pursue P.HD. or want to work in a government sector then you need to do Masters in any elective or field of your choice .

AICTE approval is not needed for a PGPM course . Autonomous or private institutes have their own affiliation and that too with government approval . Even IIM, JBIMS, NMIMS, etc are also autonomous universities and have their own affiliation and set of rules and regulations .

Placements at IBS is good. All the big corporate brands come in IBS for placements like JP Morgan Chase, CRISIL, Deloitte, HDFC BANK, ICICI Bank, Kotak Mahindra, Axis Bank, Reckitt Benckiser (Dettol), ITC hotels, landmark group, Satguru travels and so on . Highest package is of 12 lakhs and lowest package is of 4.5 lakhs based on the academics of an individual throughout his academic life .

The placements and campus life In IBS Mumbai is good. There are many clubs and co curricular activities happening in IBS Mumbai . Clubs like Markophilia, Kautaliya, Synergy, Defusion, Sound Street, etc which have a lot of extra curricular activities and a part of IBS Mumbai . Its not just studies but also activities taking place . Yes it is worth .
