I think the answer would differ from people to people. But most importantly you should decide what interests you more. B.Com is like an academic degree after which you have various career options I. e for Masters. B.Com would ACT like a base in your commerce field. And yes you will have to study
Hotel management on the other hand should be pursued only when you want to build your career in Hotel lines. It would be good if your looking for being an entrepreneur and start your own hotel. It would be a good option if you have interests and skills in it. And no you won't have to study much. However in my opinion you can be a good entrepreneur in hotel lines even with a B.Com degree.
