Good faculty with strong labs and decent campus life.
Placements: ICT Chennai is a growing institute with strong academics and industry connections. Placements are still developing compared to ICT Mumbai, but opportunities are increasing in the chemical, pharma, and allied industries. Good choice for research focused students.
Infrastructure: ICT Chennai offers modern classrooms, Wi-Fi, well equipped labs, and a good library. Hostels are clean with Wi-Fi, hot water, and power backup. Mess food is decent, medical care is available on campus, and sports facilities support both indoor and outdoor games.
Faculty: Faculty at ICT Chennai are well qualified and supportive, with good subject knowledge. The curriculum is industry oriented, focusing on practical and research skills. Exams are moderately tough but manageable with preparation, and the pass percentage is high.
Other: I chose Chemical Engineering for its career scope. The best part is strong labs and practical exposure. Campus life is active with fests, seminars, and clubs. Crowd is friendly, and scholarships are available. Improvement is needed in placements and industry tie ups.
