The cost of studying at Poornima Institute of Engineering and Technology (PIET) can be considered on the higher side compared to some other private institutions in Rajasthan, but it is generally in line with many other well-established private engineering colleges. The total cost depends on several factors, including tuition fees, hostel charges, and additional expenses like exam fees, library fees, etc.Approximate Fee Structure (2024):Tuition Fees:For B.Tech courses, the tuition fees at PIET typically range between ?75,000 to ?1,10,000 per year. This can vary depending on the specific branch or program.Hostel Fees:The hostel fees vary depending on the type of accommodation (e.g., single, double, or triple occupancy rooms). It generally ranges from ?50,000 to ?80,000 per year.Other Fees:Registration/Exam Fees: ?10,000 to ?15,000 (approximately).Miscellaneous Charges: This includes charges for library access, labs, sports, etc., which can add ?5,000 to ?10,000 annually.Caution Deposit:PIET may require a refundable caution deposit of ?5,000 to ?10,000.Comparison with Other Institutions:While PIET is not among the most expensive private colleges, it is still relatively more costly than government institutions. However, the fees are generally lower than top-tier private colleges like BITS Pilani, MNIT Jaipur, or similar institutions.Financial Aid:Scholarships: Poornima Institute offers scholarships based on merit, which can help reduce the financial burden. The scholarship can be based on your performance in JEE Main or the institute's entrance exam.Education Loans: You can avail of education loans from banks, which are often available for recognised institutions like PIET. They may also assist in providing necessary documents for loan processing. Is It Worth the Cost? The cost is often justified by the quality of education, infrastructure, and placement opportunities provided at PIET. The institute has a good track record for placements in companies like Infosys, Wipro, Cognizant, and more. However, if cost is a major concern, you may also want to compare PIET with other engineering colleges in Rajasthan, including government and other private colleges with similar academic standards.

It is on the delivery of food in the hostel mess in Alamuri Ratnamala Institute of Engineering and Technology that we can make mixed reactions. The physical facilities available in the campus include environment that is quieter and most appropriate for studying, and hosts of activities…Hostel Mess food is however not as praised as the rest. Average meals are claimed by some students and recommendations on how to make them tastier and more diverse could help, which is always a problem in many colleges. However, the mess offers important meals to students, despite the fact that this is not one of the significant features in campus.
