B.Tech. in Electronics and Communication Engineering - Batch of 2019

I am not satisfied with this college because of its placements.
Placements: Our college doesn't provide placement opportunities. Almost 20% of students got internships. They don't prepare students for interviews. They only provide education.
Infrastructure: Our college provides us with all facilities. Wi-Fi facility is not available in our college. Classrooms are good. The library is average. The mechanical lab has machines, grinders, molding instruments, and some basic instruments. It doesn't have an advanced machine like a CNC machine. The hostel rooms are good.
Faculty: All teachers are helpful. They teach us very well. The teaching quality is good. They have completed their B.Tech. Some of them have completed their M.Tech. Our college is under Rajasthan Technical University. Semester exams are not much difficult.
Other: Our college is located near NH-8.

Don't think about joining this college. That decision may ruin your life.
Placements: 50% students got placed in various companies. The highest package offered was 85 LPA. Tata motors, hyundai and many other companies were the top recruiters.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi facility was not available, and labs were not in working condition. Practicals were not taught by any faculty as all the instruments were broken and useless.
Faculty: There were not many faculties available in the college. Only 2 or 3 teachers were there for a branch.

It is a good college for studies but not placements are provided for the past three years.
Placements: In the mechanical branch, we are a total of 20 students in our college. In the past 3 years, none of the companies came to our college for recruitment. This is not a good college for placements.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is average. Wi-Fi is not available for students. Labs don't have complete equipment. Classrooms and the library are average. Hostel facilities are not very good. They serve food two times for the hostel students. We have games & sports week in every year.
Faculty: It is a very good college for making a good percentage in our course. But students are not ready for the industry because the practical knowledge not giving properly. Faculty members are very good and also helpful. All the branches have good faculty members.
Other: Bus facilities and other facilities provided for local students are not good. But it is a good college to score a good percentage. The college should improve in providing practicals.

Please don't enroll for J. I. E. M.
Placements: The placement were held for final year as well as third year students. There were some exceptional bright students from second as well who got placed very early. Civil engineering department weren't offered placements but the telecom department had a visit from vodafone which shortlisted some students. Bottom line : For proper placement one has to have in depth theoretical and most importantly practical knowledge about his/her field.
Infrastructure: Very few faculty members were able to teach properly due to absence if technically educated staff which was because of a low pay provided to the faculty. Initially the college infrastructure wasn't completely built with absence of boundaries and absence of Wi-Fi provision in the hostel. The college library was medicore with books of all engineering branches. Classroom were spacious but the quality of food in the canteen and mess was below average. I faced issues with absence of technical staff, Wi-Fi, mess food which was pathetic and lack of monetary supply for functions like annual fests and farewell for seniors.
Faculty: Teachers were less qualified and technical but certain teachers were very helpful. Teaching quality was not upto the mark which was a waste of the students time and money. Student-faculty ratio was 20/1. We did get a water treatment plant exposure. Bisalpur dam at Rajasthan were water is treated. We also went for the ambuja cement workshop at Jaipur were we learnt how cement is made and tested. These course curriculum was pretty useful expect the teachers and management.
Other: Events were extremely below average, with absence of choreography and skilled workers. Campus crowd lacked decorum and patience with absence of discipline or responsibility. Extra-curricular activities were not present.

Satisfied with the education provided by the college.
Placements: From my batch, nearly 40 students are placed, and the placements will be more than 30% of the total candidates. 1.5 LPA is the average package, and I obtained only 1.2 LPA at the start. The companies are non-technical, but the college is aiming to call technical companies too, and for me, it's better as it provides a learning opportunity to me.
Infrastructure: The college is not too big as the other known universities or colleges, but it is more effective than the parallel education providers as its learning opportunities are better than others. On talking about the lab and Wi-Fi facility, the college offers both on the campus.
Faculty: Due to small infrastructure, the teachers are also less than known colleges but are enough to provide better knowledge related to the respective course. On talking about the qualification of the faculty members, they are skilled and experienced in their respective field.
Other: The college offers some cultural fests and events for encouraging students and motivates them to join extracurricular activities too on the campus.
