The MIT School of Film and Theatre admission process is conducted online with admissions depending on MIT-SFT Aptitude Test, Creative Test and Personal Interview for MSc and BSc courses while for BA the admissions depend on MIT-SOD Entrance Test and Creative Test. Students must apply online and appear for these interviews/test before the last date of admission which is usually in the month of July.

One can still make an educated guess in regards to the most popular sector for graduates being the Media/Film Industry with courses geared to make students succeed in this field. Students graduating from BSc, BA and MSc at the college can find roles as Editors, Directors, Cinematographers, VFX Artists, Cameraman, etc.
