By comparing these institutions according to their requirements for admission into BSc courses, candidates can determine which colleges are the easiest to get into. To be eligible for BSc programmes at KIT Kanpur, DAV College Kanpur, and MPGI, candidates must have completed their Class 12 in the Science stream with at least an aggregate of 50 to 60%. Only MPGI BSc admissions are based on counselling after qualification for the entrance test. The other two colleges, KIT Kanpur and DAV Kanpur admit students based on their merit as evaluated by their Class 12 scores. Admission to the MPGI BSc programme can be slightly difficult, but students who adequately prepare can easily get admission into any of the institute's BSc courses.

While both Maharana Pratap Group of Institutions (MPGI) in Kanpur and Ram Swaroop University in Lucknow provide respectable MBA programs, their facilities and areas of emphasis are different.Traditional management education with exposure to industry and respectable employment possibilities is strongly emphasized at MPGI. It is supported by a respectable infrastructure and academic assistance, with an emphasis on practical learning and core MBA specializations.A wider range of MBA specializations, with an emphasis on innovation, entrepreneurship, and research, are available at Ram Swaroop University. It is also a superior option for students looking for a variety of professional routes, such as startups or academic research, because of its more modern infrastructure. Northern India is the main source of students for both universities. In contrast, Bangalore's GIBS (Global Institute of Business Studies) is notable for having a more industry-focused approach that provides prospects for advanced placement, exposure to the global market, and all-encompassing development programs such as Finishing School. For students looking for a more comprehensive, worldwide education in a business-friendly city like Bangalore, GIBS is the best option.
