Universities offer many specialisations like Product Design, Fashion Design, Industrial Design, Textile Design, Fashion Communication etc. It totally depends on college to college or university to university where you are taking an admission and on the basis of specialisation. Basic B. Des eligibility is the completion of Class 12th with minimum of 50% in any stream or Diploma in Design.
The total course is of 4 years and it should cost you anywhere between INR 9 Lacs and INR 15 Lacs. The average fees to pursue B. Des can be between INR 10-15 Lacs in total in some private colleges like IILM University Gurugram, Amity School of Fashion Technology, Pearl Academy etc. And under INR 7 Lacs in government colleges like NIFT etc.
