Best college ever. 10/10 must join.
Placements: Less than 50 percent of students got placed. The rest were sent to Q Spider training. The highest package received is around 8 LPA and the lowest package is around 3 LPA. Students were promised many companies but those companies never came. The recruiting companies are Avasoft, Hexaware, Securing, Blackstraw, TCS, CTS, and a few more. Really skilled ones got placed and it had nothing to do with the placement training provided by the college.
Infrastructure: There are no sports and games facilities available. They conduct a couple of sports days for name's sake. Wi-Fi is available in the lab and not in classrooms. Students are sent to the main campus for placement training. I don't understand that because parents pay fees for their children to study in the city campus and not in the main campus.
Faculty: Sadist, egoistic, dismissive, and authoritarian leadership and management where they care more about preserving their image rather than working for the well-being of the students. Studying here can help you experience how to deal with a broken system. They will harass and abuse you for petty issues but ironically will let go of real issues if it puts their image in danger. Save treatment is given for students. 10/10 totally recommended. The curriculum is Anna University-based. Semester exams are of moderate difficulty.
Other: They inaugurated a few clubs at the beginning of the college but no one heard anything about any club after that. Certainly a place to be a teacher if you feel the need to express your anger toward students. You are free to abuse and harass them. The management will back you and will always blame the student. It is surrounded by residential buildings. I joined here expecting the worst and somehow they still managed to disappoint me. On the whole, this college is a representation of everything wrong in our society including authority misuse, harassment, abuse, and more.

Placements: Panimalar Engineering College is situated in Chennai. This is a trust and is well known for placements. The highest package of this college is 30 LPA, and the lowest package is 7 LPA. Many well-known tech companies like HCL, Microsoft, TCS visit this college every year for placements. By pursuing this course, you have the best chance to become a software developer.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of this college is best for the students. This is a four-year programme, and many facilities are provided by the college, like Wi-Fi available at all times for students and faculty. Classrooms are fully air-conditioned, and the library is very big for students to study together. Other facilities include medical facilities for students and faculty. The college also has many hostels for students to live in.
Faculty: The faculty of this college is best for the students. They are very kind and supportive, helping students in every aspect. The course curriculum provided by the college is relevant for the students. In one semester, it makes the students industry-ready. Many exams are organized in this college, so students perform well in their sessional examinations. The passing criteria of this college is 60 percent. Students must visit this college for admission.
Other: This college provides scholarship facilities for students, and many extra-curricular activities are organized every year.

Roller coaster of college life.
Placements: 70% of placements; the highest package is 24LPA from Zoho and the lowest is Tech Mahindra with 3LPA. Top companies are: Hexaware, CTS, Accenture, Wipro. Internships are with companies like HCL, Bvistech, Wipro. Top roles: Software Developer, System Analyst, Network Engineer.
Infrastructure: We are not provided with Wi-Fi in classrooms, but it is available in labs. Own devices are not allowed in the library; you are supposed to use only the management systems. The quality of food is good, and the infrastructure is acceptable. There is no canteen in the college; we only have a mess, and outside food is not allowed. They conduct sports day annually.
Faculty: Yes, teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is also good, but not with all the teachers. The course curriculum is relevant to current technologies, and the subjects are changed every year to keep students updated. They are not too difficult, and the pass percentage is 80.
Other: I chose ECE because I can go into either the software domain or hardware domain, and there is a good future for semiconductor companies. We need to get much practical knowledge in order to improve our skills. Cultural fest will be conducted once a year, and many technical events are held, with limited extracurricular activities.
