I'm satisfied with faculty and placements.
Placements: Many companies approached our college to recruit students. Major companies were Capgemini, Capital, ICICI Prudential, Motilal Oswal, Teleperformance, Mypcot Infotech, etc.
Infrastructure: Classrooms were good and air-conditioned. Wi-Fi, labs, and a separate library with different books were available to enhance the knowledge of students.
Faculty: Teachers in our college had great knowledge. They were highly qualified. Students could gain knowledge about all the concepts. The course curriculum was good for students. Semester exams were good to check the understanding of students.
Other: I chose this course as it would provide excellent opportunities for the future. Many fests and extracurricular activities were organised in our college to check students' capabilities and for entertainment.

S.M. Shetty College of Science, Commerce and Management Studies has below criteria for taking admissions to it's various courses:

| M.Com | Candidates who have passed BMS degree examination or an examination of any other university recognised at equivalent there to or BMM degree examination (only for Management Specialization subject) at the M.Com. degree level are eligible to apply. |
| Certificate | Candidates must have passed 10+2 from any recognised board are eligible to apply. |
| B.Com | Candidates must havepassed the Higher Secondary School Certificate (Std. XII) examination with vocational subjects/minimum competency based vocational course conducted by the different Divisional Boards of the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education. OR Must have passed an examination of another University or Body recognised as equivalent to Higher Secondary School Certificate (Std. XII) Examination. |
| B.M.M. | Candidate must have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination in any stream from Maharashtra board are eligible to apply. |
| B.Sc. | Candidates who have passed Diploma in Computer Engineering/Computer Science/ Computer Technology / Information Technology / Electrical, Electronic and Allied Branches, Mechanical and Allied Branches, Civil and Allied Branches of Engineering after S.S.C. (Xth) are Eligible for admission to direct admission to the Second Year of the B.Sc. (IT) degree course. However, the Diploma should be recognised by theboard of Technical Education or any other recognised Government body. Minimum Marksrequired 45% aggregate for Open category candidates and 40% aggregate for reserved category candidates. AND Students with post H.S.C. - Diploma in Computer Engineering / Computer Science / Computer Technology / Information Technology and allied branches will be eligible for direct admission to the Second Year of B.Sc. (IT). However, the Diploma should be recognised by the Board of Technical Education or any other recognised Government body. |
| BBM/BMS | Candidate passed 12th/equivalent from Maharashtra Board of Higher Secondary Education any recognised institute/board are eligible to apply. Candidate of reserved category passed 12th/equivalent from Maharashtra Board of Higher Secondary Education any recognised institute/board with 40% are eligible to apply. Candidate passed Diploma in any Engineering branches with two years or three years duration conducted by the Board of Technical Education, Maharashtra State or its equivalent examination are eligible to apply. |
