A good college for the best education in a village area.
Placements: I am a student of this college, and I realised that this college is the best not only education but also in social activities and culture. The faculty in our college want to educate all students for their best future. The college has a placement cell, and they tried hard for placements of students, but in this present time, no company has come to this college for placements because only a few companies are left in the state for a business purpose, that's the reason why they do not come. When I joined this college, I heard that some students got placed after completing their studies form this college, but now, only a few bright students are able to get jobs.
Infrastructure: The college has a sports ground. There are some shops near the college, and you can buy stationary things like a pen, khata (Excise book), some snacks, water, cold drinks, etc. There is also a Xerox shop for photocopies. The college doesn't provide free Wi-Fi facility for students. The classrooms are big, and labs are clean. The good part is you can join the college gym for your body fitness. A government hospital is available in this area, and some private hospitals are 10 km away. If you love reading, then you can join the college library, a lot of books are available here. Another best part is the college is located in a village area, so you can also feel the beauty of nature. Overall, the college campus and classrooms are good, but there are no free Wi-Fi, hostel and canteen.
Faculty: I am happy to say this college has good teaching staff. All the teachers are very good and helpful to all students. They teach very well. If you don't understand any topic, then they help you to understand the topic by teaching again. They teach any topic fluently and explain all topics for better result and better knowledge. This college follows the curriculum of Calcutta University.
Other: The college organises some events and programmes like yearly sports, Rabindranath Jayanti, Swaraswati puja, Independence day, etc. The campus has the best crowd when the college organises 'College Social', it is conducted every year for students enjoyment and fun. The college has a good campus, and you can reach this college by bus, car and train. If you like travelling in the train, then you need to take a train called Howrah-Amta local train, and when the train arrives in Bargachia station, you need to take a bus or any cab to reach the college. There are some villages and cool places in the surroundings of the college campus.
