Admission to Sri Venkateswara Engineering College (SVCE) is competitive and depends on several factors. For undergraduate programs, it's primarily merit-based, with entrance exams like Andhra Pradesh EAMCET playing a key role. Higher demand courses like Computer Science and AI will likely have higher cutoff ranks. Entrance Exam Performance:SVCE admissions for B.Tech programs are largely based on Andhra Pradesh EAMCET scores according to multiple sources. Higher scores in the entrance exam, particularly for competitive branches, increase your chances of getting a seat.Course Choice:Popular branches like Computer Science, AI, and Data Science typically require higher ranks in the EAMCET.Cutoff Ranks:Cutoff ranks vary each year depending on the number of applicants, the difficulty of the exam, and the number of seats available in each branch

The faculty at Sri Venkateswara Engineering College are quite well qualified, supportive, dedicated and student-friendly, especially in Computer Science, Electronics and IT departments. Generally, all students are appreciative of the interactive teaching styles, practical and relatable examples and the support and guidance provided in terms of projects and placement. Professors tend to blend traditional teaching approaches with current teaching delivery and learning tools such as presentations and lectures laden with meaningful discussions in treatment of the subjects. While most of the faculty members are generally sincere and well-intentioned, a few students have noted problems with teaching quality in those departments. Most of the faculty are competent and focus on an academic achievement and career development path for their students.

Sri Venkateswara Engineering College is regarded as a good college, and especially for students who live in Andhra Pradesh. It is affiliated with JNTU Anantapur and is AICTE approved. It is NAAC accredited (A grade) and has programmes accredited by NBA. The college offers UG and PG courses in engineering, management and computer applications. This insitute is not ranked in the top engineering colleges in India, but it offers good educational standards, good placement, and able and dediacted faculty. The campus, infrastructure, and facilities are reasonable, and it should be a very good choice for students who want to pursue an engineering degree at lower cost relative to other engineering colleges around.

Our faculty members were very friendly and pleasant with us and encouraging about new ideas of students. Our faculty always did their best, and they are even very responsible and respectful with every student, even other department students. The course curriculum was relevant. The teaching is very useful here and very helpful. The course curriculum is relevant, and it makes students industry-ready. Semester exams are quite difficult. Mainly talking about department heads, they are very cheerful to students and they are spending much time regarding students academics.

While some students find it satisfactory and meeting basic nutritional needs, others feel there is room for improvement in terms of taste and variety. Candidates can enter Sri Venkateswara Engineering College in one of two basic ways. If candidates want to enter in the standard entry process, they will need to complete 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics and obtain the minimum required marks (generally 45% for general category), then write the Andhra Pradesh EAMCET (EAPCET) examination and qualify with rank as per the cutoff marks given in the Andhra Pradesh EAMCET bulletin for the year candidates will apply, and take part in the Andhra Pradesh state-level counseling process, and whichever rank allotment they were provided in the counseling process, select SVEC. Alternatively, if candidates are applying directly to the college for around 30% of seats under the management quota, and are following the APSCHE rules and guidelines, then they will apply directly to the college. Diploma holders in engineering or technology may also be eligible for lateral entry into the second year of the B.Tech program, however candidates have to have qualified the Andhra Pradesh ECET examination and go through a separate counseling process.
