B.E./B.Tech is the most favored course at Sri Venkateswara Engineering College because it is the primary academic purpose of the college, with more than ten specializations, including the most sought-after programmes - Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence and Data Science, Electronics, and Mechanical Engineering. And definitely the most important, JNTU has accredited the college with AICTE, and NAAC (A), and the college is NBA approved, which certainly confirms the quality of education and relevance to industry. And quite apart from the above-mentioned demand has huge value by also having a large placement cell interacting with most of the reputed corporate in the sector, which gives engineering students more placement opportunities in all fields. The huge addition of value is also added through the base infrastructure, plentiful faculty, fee structure is reasonable, and reputability, and university along with strong emphasis on technical skills, internships and co-curricular/ extra-curricular exposure - workshops/ competitions.

The college placement percentage would generally range between 60% -90% . Several reputed companies such as TCS, Wipro, Cognizant, Infosys, Capgemini, IBM, HCL, Mindtree, and Zoho are recorded to have definitely visited the campus for placements. The average packages would have ranged between Rs.3.5 -5 LPA whilst some strong students are recorded to have received some maximum packages of Rs.11 to Rs.12.5 LPA. Students from core branches such as Mechanical and Civil receive usually lesser packages at around Rs.3 to Rs.4 LPA, but many students improved their job prospectus through acquiring software and technical skills.
