Overall, the best college for M.Sc. In the Botany course.
Placements: In recent placements, the highest package was 23 lacs, and the average was between 13 and 20 lacs per annum. Students are also introduced to Dhathri Ayurveda. Professional loggers receive letters to the Department of the Environment. Most students just go on to university after passing here. Many students received their internships.
Infrastructure: We have great classrooms. Wi-Fi is awesome. The canteen is average. If the hostel facilities are compared to those of other colleges. The library is very peaceful to study in. Each department has its own. Sports and restaurants are good. Students who are interested in acting can be more successful.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, and most of the teachers are from IITs. He is well qualified and knowledgeable. Our curriculum is well-suited and innovative. Student prepares for jobs through the revised curriculum. The semester exam is moderate, with a pass percentage of 66%.

One of the better colleges for M.Sc. Psychology in Kerala.
Placements: I studied M.Sc. Psychology at Union Christian College, Kerala, and management quote. The semester fee for students was around Rs. 8500. For our course, there was no specific recruiter, so we had to find jobs ourselves. Students in electronics and other science-related subjects usually get placements easily.
Infrastructure: Although the classrooms did not have Wi-Fi or smart classroom facilities, the overall quality of the classrooms was good. They have everything, a library, a big playground, a cinema hall, and all the facilities you need. The hostel is good, well-cleaned, and the food is also better. They have a huge reputation in sports. All kinds of sports are available to play, and there are different coaches.
Faculty: All the teachers are highly qualified and very helpful. Their teaching style is excellent. They provide all the necessary knowledge and experience for the future. The semesters are not very difficult; the level is average, with a pass rate of around 70%. The pass rate is quite important.

I loved the people and events, but Psychology needs a stronger practical base.
Placements: I am a part of the B.Sc. Psychology batch (2021-2024). Sadly, there are no official placement drives for psychology students. The placement cell mainly focused on Commerce and Management departments, where students receive better opportunities. For us, securing internships or entry-level roles is completely dependent on personal effort, though our professors give us a few suggestions. Around 30-40% of students managed to get internships at hospitals, clinics, or NGOs, but none of them are arranged directly by our college.
Infrastructure: Our department has a decent infrastructure. Classrooms are spacious and well-ventilated, with projectors in some classrooms. The library is well-stocked with psychology textbooks and journals. We have access to a well-arranged and functional lab for practicals. Wi-Fi is available, but not always reliable. I did not stay in the hostel, so I cannot comment on the hostel facilities. However, the campus canteen offered basic food, but they serve tasty snacks and meals at reasonable prices. Sports facilities are available, though limited. There are college nurses for minor medical issues.
Faculty: Honesty, it is a mixed bag. Some teachers are extremely passionate, knowledgeable, and supportive. We could see that they wanted us to learn. But a few are going through motions, which is frustrating at times. The course curriculum itself is solid, covering all the core areas like abnormal, social, organizational, and developmental psychology, but at the same time, it felt too theory-based and outdated. I wish there were more focus on practical application and real-world exposure. Exams are not that hard if we study regularly. I wish we could become industry-ready and not just exam-ready.
Other: The one thing I will never forget is the vibe of UCC, calm, green, and filled with memories. I chose psychology out of a deep passion for understanding people and healing, and though the academic system has its flaws. The campus life more than made up for it. In my first year itself, I founded the official fashion club of UC College, which became a creative space for a lot of fashion enthusiasts to express themselves. I also served as a percussionist for the college's arts club, Swaralaya. Being part of the cultural scene, whether it was Union Day, student political party-based events, or Kalolsavam and arts day, felt like home for any artist. One of the highlights during my second year was Centennial Vista (100 years of UCC), an unforgettable event full of nostalgia, pride, and legacy. The crowd is mostly rounded and supportive, though at times conservative. But if we find our tribe, we will thrive. Connectivity-wise, the college is reachable via auto, bus, or even via metro till Aluva. Surroundings are peaceful and ideal for college, and tucked into nature.

The finest college overall.
Placements: 86% of the students at my college were placed in our course last year. The typical pay ranges from 17 LPA to 25 LPA. Prominent hiring firms include Haier, MRF, Minhance Wellness, and others. Over 75% were given internships at prestigious companies. Clinical psychologist, therapist, and other positions are available.
Infrastructure: Numerous amenities are available at this college, including classrooms, restrooms, a lift, a park, a gymkhana, water mountains, a canteen, and more. High-quality items and materials are used at this college. Additionally, the sports committee hosted tournaments for games and sports.
Faculty: Teachers are incredibly kind and helpful. They are designed to assist pupils in performing well. Teachers will assist pupils in actively participating in the numerous extracurricular activities available. It's an excellent setting for developing other abilities and a good outlook. Exams during the semester are challenging, and about 70% of students pass.

Overall, it is the best college for the M.Sc. in Psychology course.
Placements: 95% of students found jobs, with an average income of 14 LPA. The highest package is around 30 LPA, while the lowest is around 5 LPA. The Marriage Fit, Caring Minds, and Abhasa Rehab & Wellness are the top recruiters. 90% of students secured internships. Therapist, research assistant, and other positions are offered.
Infrastructure: My department offers various features, including ultra-fast Wi-Fi capabilities. Laboratories are excellent, classrooms are nice, and all are equipped with air conditioning. The hotel amenities are impressive, and the cuisine surpasses that of any other hotel I've encountered. The clinic operates around the clock, and various types of games are available to play.
Faculty: Some teachers are very helpful to students, and all are very qualified. Although most students study for exams in the last few days, the syllabus has interesting topics. If only a few people and almost everyone passed. Exam difficulty depends on the professor, though many are intermediate. The cutoff percentage is more than 83%.

I'm satisfied and happy with my college and I would recommend anyone to join here.
Placements: This course has a pretty decent placement rate. Many of my seniors have been placed in good companies over the last few years. Now about the placement, the starting salary is between Rs. 10,000- Rs. 25,000 and it will increase according to the importance of the job.
Infrastructure: I would say my college has a pretty decent infrastructure development. This college has been found 103 years ago so it has taken proper measure to balance the modernity and the traditional aspects of the college. Hostels are constructed in a traditional way while providing proper facilities. The food available is good too.
Faculty: The fees can be around Rs. 5000 and it might change according to reservations and the quote. Students availing management seats are required to pay more than students from merit. Teachers are qualified, professional, and friendly. The semester exams are conducted mostly after 4 months at the end of each semesters.
Other: For me, I wanted to get involved in business. At the same time, I wanted a degree too. I was sure that BBA was the right option for me. The college conducts many programs throughout the year which helps the students to socialize more.
