There are professors from whom you get to learnt a lot. The campus is good.
Placements: Students are only given admissions based on their CPGET rank. Around 30-35 students are enrolled each year after getting a good rank in CPGET. Half the students are regular while the other half is self finance. There are no placements in M.A. English but you get job offers from different colleges for lecturers through professors.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is quite good. There's library block in campus available to all students. Dep. Of Physical education allows students to participate in different sport activities. The canteen has variety of food such as dosa, roti, sandwich, biryani once a week, saag puri etc. There's pani puri stall, juice counter too. Hostlers didnt really like the mess food.
Faculty: You get to learn from assistant and associate professors who have 15+ years of experience. The curriculum does make students ready especially for the teaching. Exams are not too easy nor too hard. There were no failures in any of the semester. Passing percentage is 40. Although you get an option to write backlocks in case you fails in any exam.
Other: Best things about this course are - curriculum, research project. I wish that there were placements in this course too like any other courses. There are fewer events in the college. The campus is huge so its not crowded. Connection with seniors and juniors as well as with professors is very good and easy to make. Scholarship is offers to almost every student who fulfill a particular requirement.

It is the best course for students.
Placements: Placements were not good. There were no internships in this college. We could also sit directly for placements. The highest salary package offered was 30 LPA. Many students got placed in government jobs.
Infrastructure: There were 3 boys' hostels in this college. It was a government college, so all facilities were not available. Classrooms were not good. Washrooms facilities were average. The food served in the mess was good. Triple occupancy rooms were available. In each hostel room, two students could accommodate easily. The hostel fee was Rs 20,000 per year.
Faculty: All faculty members were good and highly qualified. The ratio between teachers and students was 8:60. The teaching quality was excellent. Three internal exams were conducted in this college. Semester exams were not difficult if we attended all lectures.
Other: I chose this course because of my interest in it. There were 50 students in our course. The course fee was Rs 4,000 per year.

Being a government college, some facilities are not as modern as a few other private colleges.
Placements: A total of 50 students were placed, and the highest package offered was INR 7.50 LPA during Osmania University MBA placements in 2021. Further, a total of 58 companies visited the campus, and 309 offers were made during Osmania University's University College of Engineering placements in 2021. The highest package offered during Osmania University Engineering placements 2021 was INR 22 LPA. The top recruiters of Osmania University in 2021 included leading companies such as DXC, South India Bank, and TCS.
Infrastructure: The rooms were big enough and the infrastructure was okay. The average rental per month was about Rs 1,200 per month during 2008–2012. The facilities available were a large TV hall, a newspaper room, a medical room, a sports ground, and two large mess halls. The hostel rooms were sufficient for almost all those who were eligible (who were more than 50km away from the college).
Faculty: The course curriculum is relevant to the subject. It is not research-driven; there are some subjects that have not been updated yet. Some subjects need to be updated with the syllabus. Some subjects still have a very old syllabus which needs to be changed so that the students are taught new topics and concepts, which would be helpful. Some useless elective subjects need to be removed from the curriculum, and experimental teaching needs to be encouraged. There were very few industrial visits organised by the college during those days.
Other: Our college had so many annual technical, cultural, and management festivals. All departments hold their technical festival separately, which invites about 600-700 students per day and runs for 02-03 days. The cultural day of the college is held one day per semester, which will be attended by most of the students at the college. Other management programmes are held by the college and in which most of the students actively participate.
