The quality of food in the hostel mess at Yamuna Group of Institutions is generally satisfactory, with a focus on providing balanced and hygienic meals. The menu includes vegetarian and occasional non-vegetarian options, catering to diverse regional tastes, with staple items such as rice, roti, vegetables, and dal served daily.Students appreciate variety, including North Indian and South Indian dishes, though some find the taste repetitive or average as compared to home-cooked food. Hygiene is maintained, with regular inspections carried out in the kitchen with complaints arising once in a while regarding under or over-seasoning or portion sizes.
