EAMCET 2014: Checklist for the exam
The day is finally here Engineering, Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test 2014 (EAMCET 2014) is scheduled to be conducted on May 22, 2014. The exam for engineering aspirants will be held from 10 am to 12 pm whereas agriculture and medicine aspirants need to appear for the CET from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm.
Candidates are advised to reach the examination well in advance because they will not be allowed to sit for the examination even if they are late by one minute. Candidates will be allowed to enter the exam centre at 9 am for engineering entrance exam and at 1:30 pm for agriculture and medical entrance exam.
Conducted by Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad on behalf of APSCHE, EAMCET 2014 is being conducted at 750 test centres spread across Andhra Pradesh.

Hall ticket: Candidates need to mandatorily carry their hall ticket at the test centre and also in the examination hall, failing which they will not be allowed to write the entrance exam. You also need to ensure that your hall ticket is not tampered with and contains all the necessary information such as your name, photograph, examination centre address etc.
Filled-in online application form: All candidates need to submit their filled-in online application form to the invigilator present in the examination hall on the exam day. You also need to affix a recent colour photograph (3.5cms x 3.5cms) of yourself in the box provided at the bottom left side corner of the application form. The application form along with your photograph needs to be attested by a gazetted officer or by the principal of the college where you have studied.
Candidate belonging to SC/ST category need to submit an attested photocopy of the caste certificate along with their filled-in online application form to the invigilator in the examination hall.
Stationery: Make sure to carry blue/black ball point pen to the examination centre to darken the appropriate circle in your OMR answer sheet. Answers marked with a pencil will not be evaluated. So, carrying your personal stationery is as important as having your hall ticket for EAMCET 2014.
Water: Yes, we agree that it is getting warmer by the day and so you should definitely consider carrying a bottle of water with you for EAMCET 2014. However, do ensure that the bottle you carry does not have any text written on it because this can fall under the clause of unfair means being used in the examination and you can even be penalised for it. So, be very careful.
Wrist watch: Since you need to attempt 160 questions in three hours, you need to be able to manage your time effectively in this state CET and for this it is necessary that you carry your watch along with you for the examination. However, make sure that the watch does not have a calculator or any other fancy features which can land you in trouble at the examination centre.
Candidates will not be allowed to leave the exam hall till the exam does not end, so take your time and calmly attempt your question paper. Also, it is strictly prohibited to carry calculators, mathematical/log tables, pagers, cell phones or any other electronic gadgets as well as loose sheets of paper into the EAMCET 2014 examination hall.
