EAMCET 2014 Entrance Exam
The Engineering, Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test (EAMCET) is for admission to the professional courses of Andhra Pradesh’s government and private colleges. It is conducted by Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU), Hyderabad on behalf of the AP State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE).
The registrations for the exam is schedueld to commence on February 20, 2014. The last date for submission of online application form without late fee is April 4, 2014.
Students are required to apply for EAMCET 2014 online as there is no offline procedure for the same.
Eligibility:
For engineering courses:
- Applicants should not be less than 16 years on December 31, 2014
- Applicants should have appeared for or passed Class 12 board exam or intermediate exam with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry
- Applicants should have at least 45% aggregate marks in above-specified subjects. Reserved category students should have at least 40% aggregate marks.
- Applicants should not be less than 17 years or more than 25 years on December 31, 2014.
- Applicants should have appeared for or passed Class 12 board exam or intermediate exam with Physics, Chemistry and Biology. For agricultural or horticultural course aspirants, it is necessary to have agriculture or related vocational course in the qualifying exam.
- Medical aspirants must have at least 50% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English. Reserved category students should have at least 40% aggregate marks.
For B. Sc (Agri.)/ B. Sc (Horti.) & medical courses:
- Applicants should not be less than 17 years or more than 25 years on December 31, 2014.
- Applicants should have appeared for or passed Class 12 board exam or intermediate exam with Physics, Chemistry and Biology. For agricultural or horticultural course aspirants, it is necessary to have agriculture or related vocational course in the qualifying exam.
- Medical aspirants must have at least 50% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English. Reserved category students should have at least 40% aggregate marks.
