EAMCET 2014 Result Analysis

EAMCET 2014 was held on May 22 for admissions to undergraduate professional courses offered by various Universities/Private colleges in the state of Andhra Pradesh. The results of the exam got declared on June 9 and the counselling for the same is expected to commence soon.

As per sources, this year, the number of students who qualified for ranking from Andhra Pradesh are higher than those from Telangana. Among the rank holders in both the streams, 11 out of 20 are from Andhra Pradesh, while seven out of the 20 are from Hyderabad.

In engineering, approximately 145412 students appeared for the exam from Andhra Pradesh. Out of these, 105556 cleared the exam. While, around 116858 candidates took for the exam from Telangana and around 45571 managed qualified for the exam.

As far as the medical stream is concerned, as many as 52859 aspirants appeared for the exam from Andhra and out of these, around 45571 qualified the same. However, around 51278 students appeared for the exam from Telangana and among these, 41529 cleared the exam.

Talking about the rank holders, this year, all the top 10 rank holders, in both engineering and medicine streams, are from Narayana Srichaitanya institutions.

The top 10 rank holders in engineering are N. Pavan Kumar, G. Chanukya Vardhan Reddy, L. Nikhil Kumar, N. Divaker Reddy, V. Aditya Vardhan, P. Prem Abhinav, B. Akshay Kumar Reddy, G. Sai Kashyap, P.S. Surya Praharsha and C. Sai Chetan.

While the top 10 rank holders in medicine are are G. Sai Srinivas, B. Divya, K. Prudhvi Raj, D. Haritha. V. Manognitha Reddy, S. Bharat Kumar, P. Srividya, Sathwik Gangireddy, R. Sai Harsha Teja and Ganta Sai Nikhila.
