JEE Main 2014 Results: Topper Akram Khan preparing for five years, now studies 13 hours a day
It took five years and 13 hours per day of focussed studies for this Andhra boy to score the second highest in India’s most important engineering entrance exam, JEE (Joint Entrance Exam) Main 2014.
For Mohammad Akram Khan, emerging as the second highest scorer in the exam was an unbelievable dream. Sharing his happiness with us, he said, “I was expecting a good rank but grabbing the second position was not expected at all”.
Quite confident of getting through JEE Advanced 2014, Akram hasn’t appeared or is planning to appear for any other entrance exam as such. This topper believes that anyone taking the exam, should not worry about the result, but instead should focus on preparations and giving the best in the exam.
Akram also enjoys swimming, reading and playing badminton. As for his under-graduation is concerned, like other toppers – Pramod and Kishlaya – he too wants to pursue his B.Tech in Computer Science from IIT Bombay. After that, he aims to pursue his MBA abroad.
