What these rankings reveal?

- Outlook rankings clearly reveal the fact that the average salary drawn by students of top 25 B-schools is 10.12 lpa, which is way more than the rest of the 50 B-schools. As students studying in the latter bracket draw a package of just around 5.39 lpa. Thus, a huge gap in terms of remuneration can be seen. However, one of the prime reasons for this drastic gap is high amount of packages in top 10 institutes.
- The survey also shows how premier institutes like IIM Lucknow and IIM Shillong, SIBM Pune have failed to make in the Outlook rankings.
- 60% of top 25 colleges highlighted by Outlook have one thing in common. All of them have introduced new programs since 2010. 72% of these institute's have a provision for foreign exchange programs.
- Just 32% of permanent faculty at top 25 B-schools has over 10 years of concrete academic experience.
- 70% of top 75 B-schools prefer admitting students on basis of their CAT scores.
- Nitie Mumbai was rated the top sectoral college in India.
- FMS and Delhi school of Economics (DSE) were rated the top 2 institutes with best Return on Investment in India.
