What is NIELIT 'O' Level Course?

The NIELIT 'O' Level is a Foundation Level IT course in Computer Applications, equivalent to a foundation diploma. The certification is offered by the National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology (NIELIT) in India and focuses on developing practical skills through modules such as IT Tools, Web Design, and Programming, with a compulsory project. It serves as a base for advanced IT courses like 'A' Level. NIELIT 'O' Level is a government-recognised certification that includes 520 learning hours, typically takes a year after 10+2 or six months after graduation, and makes you eligible for government jobs. 

NIELIT also offers higher-level IT courses, including 'A' level (equivalent to Advanced Diploma, 'B' level (equivalent to MCA) and 'C' level (equivalent to M.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering), and can be pursued after completing the O-level course.
