IIT Joint Entrance Examination (IIT JEE) Results 2011 Will Be Declared On May 25!

IIT JEE Results 2011, which was held on April 10, 2011 have been declared today on May 25, 2011. The All India Ranks (AIR) and the category ranks of the candidates will be published online on official websites of the institutes as well as intimated to them through SMS or IVRS. The candidates will be able to see their individual JEE scores and model answers of JEE 2011 on JEE websites by June 3, 2011.

There is No provision for re-evaluating IIT JEE scores in any form.

Over 4 lakh candidates appeared for IIT JEE 2011 across 1000 centres across India this year.

IIT Kanpur, the nodal agency which conducts the exams this year has declared that all candidates will get full marks for two questions that had an error in the mathematics paper.

IIT JEE Closing Ranks and Cutoff Scores

In 2010, subject-wise and aggregate JEE Cutoff Scores were as follows:

The JEE closing ranks and cutoff scores given here are just to give you an idea about what you might expect from your IIT JEE results 2011.

IIT JEE Merit List

The sum of scores of a candidate in both Paper 1 and Paper 2 is taken into account while drawing up IIT JEE Merit List. The number of candidates in the merit list is equal to the number of seats available in all the participating institutes.

There is NO IIT JEE waiting list published as such.
