IIT Kharagpur’s Law School invites applications for LLB courses

Rajiv Gandhi School of Intellectual Property Law at Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Kharagpur has invited applications for admission to three-Year Full-Time residential LLB degree programme which is scheduled to commence in 2014. Christened Rajiv Gandhi School of Intellectual Property Law , RGSOIPL, is a one of its kind school to offer legal education along with an IP specialization within the IIT system . The courses to be offered by the institute are expected to bring synergy among science, technology, management and law.

After the successful completion of the course, students will be awarded the Degree of Bachelor of Laws (Hons) in Intellectual Property Law duly approved by the Bar Council of India.

Eligibility:

• Students should hold a first Class Bachelors Degree in Engineering / Technology / Medicine or equivalent.

OR

• First Class Masters Degree in Science or Pharmacy or equivalent.

OR

• First Class MBA Degree with any of the above

Admission process:

Admission to the program will be based on the All India Entrance Examination conducted by the institute or LSAT India or LSAT Global. The All India Entrance Examination will be conducted on April 30, 2014.

After the exam, selected students will have to appear for the GD/PI. The final list of qualified candidates based on written test and GD/PI will be made.

Test Centers: Delhi, Bangalore, Kolkata and Bombay

Application process:

• Students should sent the hard copy of the filled in online form along with a draft of Rs.1000/- for General / OBC category or Rs.500/- for SC/ST/PH category, as application fees, drawn in favour of "IIT Kharagpur " payable at Kharagpur to the Dean, Rajiv Gandhi School of Intellectual Property Law , Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur-721302.
• Students should remember to clearly mark the cover as LL.B. 2014 Admissions.

Note: Female students are exempted from payment of application fees
