One of the university official said, “Both schools will offer both undergraduate and postgraduate programmes.”
The university academicians are very excited with this new initiative. But at the same time they are a bit worried about the future of this project, they want that this project must not be delayed or neglected as the same thing happened in the past also. The academician commented, “Some proposed sub-centres of the university are yet to take off. So, the university should take care that the same doesn’t happen with the new projects.”
Some academician are happy with this new concept, they also mentioned that the university has many affiliated and self-financing engineering colleges to it but some are in very bad shape and condition, so these too must be looked after.
A faculty member pointed out that the proposal should clearly mention the intended location of the schools. The faculty member added, “Also, it’s essential to debate why the university needs to start them in the first place, and how they will function. Another important aspect is recruitment of teachers.”
