14 differently-abled students shine at IIM Indore

“Strength does not come from physical capacity. It comes from an indomitable will." The famous words by Mahatma Gandhi have got a new spin from 14 meritorious differently-abled students, who have graduated this year, a maximum in the history of the IIMs.

These students have already been placed in top banking, consulting and FMCG firms.

 IIM-Indore's 14th annual convocation ceremony will see meritorious students getting scholarships and awards. The convocation is held each year to confer the title of the Fellow of Indian Institute of Management Indore for its Fellow Programme in Management (FPM) and Diplomas to the successful participants of Post Graduate Programme in Management (PGP) as well as Executive Post Graduate Programme in Management (EPGP).

While four FPM participants would receive the title of fellow of IIM Indore, 445 students of PGP and 13 students of PGP in Management at Ras Al Khaimah (PGP-RAK, UAE), 45 students of EPGP, 18 of PGPMX-RAK, UAE and 29 participants of PGP in Management for Executives (Modular)-PGPMX would receive their degrees.

Out of 445 graduating students of PGP, 94 are females.

During the pre-convocation event, Scholarships and Awards would be given to the following participants:

  1. State Bank of India Scholarship to Sakshi Makkar,
  2. Eicher Scholarship to Arshdeep Sharma,
  3. Eicher Gold Medal for Best-All Round Performance to Sayan Maiti
  4. K.K. Alagh Gold Medal for Best-All Round Performance for Women to Kriti Agarwal.

Gold Medals for Scholastic Performance would be given to the participants of PGP, EPGP, PGP-RAK, PGPMX-RAK and PGPMX-Mumbai.
