All about AIMS ATMA 2014

Launched in the year 2000, ATMA is a credible, comprehensive and single window test for admissions to different post-graduate management programmes in various B-schools across the country. Conducted in Paper-based and online mode, the test assesses the aptitude of the student for higher management education.

The exam is conducted four times a year. The upcoming online ATMA 2013 exam will be held on February 16, 2014. The next tests will be held in 2014 on: May 25, and July 20.

Eligibility:

Students who are pursuing final year of their graduation or have already graduated from any stream are eligible to appear for ATMA.

Exam pattern:

This three hour test encompasses 180 questions divided over 6 sections. The exam comprises the following sections:

Note: In the actual test, same sequence might not be followed. 

  • For every correct answer, students will be awarded a score of one
  • For any answered question, a zero score will be given
  • For each incorrect answer 0.25 point will be deducted. Therefore, for four incorrect answers, one mark will be deducted from the total score.
  • A question with multiple answers will be treated as incorrect and a negative score will be of 0.25 will be allotted.

Centers: 

Normally, the exam is conducted in the following centers:

Ahmadabad(Gandhi Nagar), Ahmednagar, Aurangabad, Bengaluru, Bhubhaneshwar, Chandigarh, Coimbatore, Cochin, Delhi, Goa, Guwahati, Gwalior, Hyderabad, Hubli-Dharwad, Indore, Jaipur, Kolhapur, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai, Nagpur, Nashik, Noida, Patna, Pune, Ranchi and Sangli.

However, the test centers may be cancelled, combined or changed depending on the number of candidates in specific centers or new centers added to the above list.
