<p style="text-align: justify;">Most of the institutes are over with there placement procedure. All the IIMs have also closed their placement sessions. As last few years this year also the IIM students manage to grab the good packages from India and abroad also. Some of them have made the record of getting the best placement in the market. One of the IIM student manage to get the offer of 1.6 crore from an US based company. This is really one of the highest in the field till now.</p> <p style="text-align: justify;"><br />This trend inspires so many students to students to take this professional course.&nbsp; These high salary graphs give students an impression <img style="border: 3px solid black; margin: 3px 4px; float: right;" src="https://images.shiksha.com/mediadata/images/1268915523php1VndFM.jpeg" alt="" width="126" height="152">that this is one of the most promising fields where you can earn heavy amount just completing the course. Most of the students getting good offers from national and international companies. But this does not mean that all the students manage to get good offer.&nbsp; There is one more side of the coin which actually shows the real face of the placement scenario.</p> <p style="text-align: justify;"><br />The most talked about topic in last few weeks was which B-School students got the highest offer. The concern for the highest salary got so much hype all around that the people who manage to get the average offer did not receive any attention. In every institute there are only very few students who manage to get the best salary, but the maximum number of students receive average salary from the companies. Saral Mukherjee, Placement Chief at the IIM-A said, "The truth is that the readers are being fed garbage" said Saral Mukherjee, Placement Chief at IIM-A.</p> <p style="text-align: justify;"><br />According to the available data the average salary offered by the international banks at IIM campuses are in the range of Rs. 12-20 lakhs per annum, on the other side the offer from the private bank only goes upto 9 lakhs for IIM graduate. The top 30 percent were offered the package of Rs. 12-15 lakhs per annum, the next 40 percent get salaries between 8-12 lakhs and the remaining got the offer between Rs. 5-8 lakhs. These packages shows that the maximum number of students only got the average salary which range between 12-8 lakhs, which is not as high as shown in other news.</p> <p style="text-align: justify;"><br />After investing a good amount as fee in these institutes and getting back a salary which is not as high as we all assume does not makes much of the difference. Paying a hefty amount as fee which could be Rs. 20 lakhs per annum and getting back it in form of salary which range between Rs 5-12 Lakhs is not really worth while. Looking the deference between the lucky one who get the salary of Rs. 1.6 crore and the maximum number of students who are getting the average salary is really eye opening. The gap is huge and reflects a different situation which most of us never see.
