Canada’s best MBA (from Schulich) comes to India
Canada's Schulich School of Business is all set to launch a Hyderabad-based India MBA programme in collaboration with GMR School of Business, an educational initiative of GMR Varalakshmi Foundation. Admitting 40 students, the inaugural batch is planned to begin in September 2013. Schulich also plans to offer an executive MBA programme at the Hyderabad campus by 2015.
The MBA programme will have students spending the first year at the Hyderabad campus and the second year at Schulich's Toronto campus. All the courses will be taught by the Schulich faculty at both the locations.
Schulich has had exchange partner agreements with various top Indian B-schools including the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Ahmedabad, IIM Bangalore, and the Indian School of Business (ISB), Hyderabad.
Schulich had opened an international satellite centre in Mumbai in 2005, that provides career placement services to their students and alumni seeking opportunities in India; offers executive and leadership development programmes for Indian executives; supports Schulich's alumni chapter in India; and manages local media relations.
The Schulich MBA in India was launched in January 2010. Previously, Schulich offered the MBA programme in partnership with the SP Jain Institute of Management and Research (SPJIMR) in Mumbai.
