CAT 2013 results: Know topper profiles
Students who have a score of 100 percentile are: Abhiram Iyer, Siva Surya Teja, Karthik Kumar, Anirudh Batra, Tejaswi Kasturi, Jainik Dedhia, Suneet Kumbhat, and PV Krishna Koundinya.
Abhiram has pursued dual degree (BTech+MTech) in Mechanical Engineering from IIT Madras. He is currently working with Ashok Leyland for the last one and half years. This is his third CAT attempt.
Tejaswi Kasturi, is also pursuing a dual degree (BTech+MTech) from IIT Madras. This was his first CAT attempt and he had prepared for only four months.
For Siva Surya Teja, this is the fourth attempt. A BTech grad from JNTU College of Engineering, Siva is originally from Samalkot, Andhra Pradesh.
Karthik Kumar, another topper, is a BTech grad from IIT Kharagpur and is working with Oracle. Suneet Kumbhat, BTech (Textile Technology) from IIT Delhi is a budding entrepreneur while PV Krishna Koundinya from IIT Bombay is a basketball player and loves playing guitar.
Jainik Dedhia, a passout of IIT-Bombay, has not yet responded to our calls and emails.
And out of the 99.9 percentilers, one candidate is Abhinav Jain from Ahmedabad.
“There are eight toppers this year who have managed to score 100 percentile. Also, eighteen people have scored in 99.99 percentile bracket, including a girl. However, I cannot divulge more information right now,” said CAT 2013 Convenor Professor Rohit Kapoor to Shiksha.com.
When enquired about toppers, Prometric spokesperson said, "All information related to CAT 2013 is with IIMs. We do not have any details."
