<p style="text-align: justify;">Very few students turned up on day one of the second phase of the computerised CAT in the Vishwakarma Goverment Engineering College on Saturday.This phase of the test is being conducted for two days.<br /><br /><br />While around 200 students were registered to appear in the test on the first day, only 80-odd students came for the test. However, <img style="border: 3px solid black; margin: 3px 4px; float: right;" src="https://images.shiksha.com/mediadata/images/1264996927phpAqUFly.jpeg" alt="" width="150" height="110">the test was completed without many hitches.</p> <p style="text-align: justify;"><br />Another set of around 200 students are scheduled to appear on the final day of the test on Sunday. While many students were upset on getting communication of the re-test at short notice from the CAT committee, many others were surprised to get late emails for the re-test.</p> <p style="text-align: justify;"><br />A candidate who has come from Maharashtra said: "I received the mail only around ten days ago and did not get time to get my train reservation. My appeal to them to allow me to appear in a test centre in Maharashtra was also denied as they said they didn't have any centre there."</p> <p style="text-align: justify;"><br />Many students who were under the impression that they had completed the test successfully also got calls for a re-test. Manish Patel, who was hurriedly running towards the test room, said: "I didn't expect this. I had completed my test at the LDRP Institute of Technology in Gandhinagar earlier."</p> <p style="text-align: justify;"><br />The second phase of CAT is an extended part of the examination which was conducted in December 2009.
