CAT prep 2014: 6 International sites for MBA prep
Various MBA aspirants are currently busy scurrying through online forums and websites for free prep material. We have already presented two articles outlining free online resources for CAT prep: i) 7 free online resources for preparation and ii) 15 Facebook groups and pages for MBA preparation.
In this article, letβs take a look at some international websites that can be equally useful for MBA prep. These websites have good practice tests on Data Interpretation, Logical Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude and Verbal ability.
With CAT, XAT, SNAP and CMAT just a few months away, we recommend these international websites that can be utilised for MBA prep.
1. MBA.com
At MBA.com, you can download free GMATPrep software and practice the free tests. The software features old GMAT questions (no longer available). It has 90 free questions β 30 Quantitative, 45 Verbal, and 15 Integrated Reasoning β with answers and explanations. MBA.com is the official website of GMAC.
2. BEATtheGMAT
One of the largest social networks for MBA applicants in the world, the site claims to serve over two million people each year. This platform connects aspirants, students, education providers to share resources. It has a massive pool of problems and solutions from which you can benefit.
3. Gmatclub.com
Apart from free practice tests, this site has several forums and question banks to help MBA aspirants. The site offers assistance with reasoning, problem solving approach, tricks and short-cuts, mathematical equations and more.
4. MyGRETutor
Though this website is dedicated to the preparation of GRE exam only, MBA aspirants can utilise their full-length practice tests, tutorial pages and study guides.
5. Khan Academy
Khan Academy has thousands of free open courseware and MBA prep, including specific prep courses on GMAT, for users. It also has micro lectures, video tutorials on a range of subjects pertaining to MBA prep.
6. Quizlet
Quizlet has over 35 million user-generated flashcard sets and more than 11 million registered users (source Wiki). Aspirants can prepare for quantitative aptitude, data interpretation, verbal ability and so on.
