  • Each of the three sections has individual section timings and candidates need to answer and review the questions of the particular section within the allotted section time.
  • In case a candidate completes the section (answering & reviewing) before the section time gets over, the balance time of the given section will not get added to the next sections. The next section has its own time limits and candidate needs to complete the section in the allotted section time.

2. 10 weeks test window:

  • This test will have a long test window from 31st October, 2011 to 6th January, 2012 and such long test windows provides candidates with a convenience to choose a test date, based on their comfort level.

3. Self scheduling option:

  • According to this feature, candidates get a fair chance to select the date and time of the test in a real time mode, based on seats availability at each of the centers.

4. Choice of attempts:

  • NMAT 2012 provides candidates with an option of appearing more than once (upto three maximum attempts, including "no shows"). In case, if you are not happy with your first attempt, you could attempt it again.

5. No Negative Marking:

  • This step encourages students to attempt all the questions instead leaving any out of the fear of deduction in marks. However, the system has no negative marking as per global practices and psychometric principles.

6. Unique question paper for every candidate:

  • NMAT-2012 will get a unique but equivalent question paper for everyone who is appearing for the exam.

7. Equated results:

  • The candidate scores will be declared in a span of 4-5 weeks from exam delivery. These shall be equated to bring about parity and fairness and will help candidates know their performance in time.

Good Luck!
